MAAG Polska has announced a PLN 12 million investment to expand its production site in Zabrze, located in the Katowice Special Economic Zone. The project, starting in September 2025, includes the construction of a 375 m² production and storage hall, supporting infrastructure, and the installation of two automated production lines. The new lines are expected to be operational in the second quarter of 2026, pending delivery of advanced equipment.

The expansion will enable the launch of the MAAGtherm® Profile, an innovative transport and assembly strip designed to improve energy efficiency in construction projects. The product, developed in-house, features a locking mechanism, adaptable in fills, and a low heat transfer coefficient, aligning with modern building requirements.
MAAG Polska, previously known mainly for furniture edges, is diversifying its portfolio. The new facility will incorporate Industry 4.0 solutions, including real-time digital monitoring, co-extrusion systems, automated labelling, and full traceability of manufacturing processes.
Sustainability is central to the project. The production lines will reuse PVC waste from furniture edge production, while the strips themselves will include recycled PVC. Energy-saving technologies, such as free cooling, solar collectors, and high-efficiency systems—will reduce environmental impact and support the region's ecological transformation.
The investment will also generate new jobs in production, R&D, and technical support, strengthening local skills and boosting the regional economy. As CEO Michał Nowrotek emphasised, this move not only broadens MAAG Polska's customer base and stabilises revenues against seasonal fluctuations, but also reflects the company's long-term growth strategy despite ongoing economic uncertainty.
