Be2Green, founded in late 2023, earned DKK 2.8 million in its first financial year and focuses on recycling all types of furniture, not just high-end pieces. By combining forces with Circular Furniture, the company consolidates expertise, expands product availability, and strengthens its presence in a niche market that has so far lacked scale.
The merged entity operates on an open partner network connecting manufacturers, architects, and retailers, and plans to develop an international marketplace without ties to specific brands. Initial expansion targets include Norway and Sweden, followed by Germany, the Netherlands, and Belgium, with partners already in countries as far as Australia.
Joakim Grue, CEO of Be2Green, highlighted the growing market demand driven by sustainability regulations, such as climate taxes on new furniture in Copenhagen, stating, 'It is special to experience a market that seems inexhaustible in terms of demand. That is also one of the reasons why we have merged.' The merger positions the company as a scalable, professional player in the circular furniture sector.
