Design Concept Denmark has expanded its furniture group as part of a long-term strategy to consolidate specialised brands and strengthen its market position. The group, which can trace its roots back to 1916, now targets a combined turnover of DKK 400 million.

The latest acquisition brings in Top-Line, a company that reported losses of DKK 66 million over the past two financial years. Co-owner and commercial director Morten Bertelsen Hertz described the losses as 'a closed chapter', attributing them to individual projects rather than systemic issues.
Top-Line's production facilities in Poland enhance Design Concept Denmark's upholstered furniture range, including sofas and armchairs, and reinforce the group's relationships with chain retailers, a key area of growth potential.
Over the past five years, Design Concept Denmark has integrated several brands, including Muubs, Randers+Radius, and Frederiksen Grenaa, creating a multi-brand group capable of competing in a pressured market. The group draws inspiration from the fashion industry's consolidation strategies to achieve long-term competitiveness and resilience.
