spoga+gafa 2026 elevates outdoor living with curated hall by Angelika Müller

spoga+gafa, the world's leading trade fair for garden lifestyle and BBQ, is set to open a new chapter in 2026 with the launch of Object.Europe in Hall 9 – a curated format dedicated to European outdoor design at the highest level.

The concept will be curated by Angelika Müller, editor of the premium lifestyle magazine H.O.M.E. and a recognised authority in international design and architecture. With nearly 25 years of experience shaping design and lifestyle reporting through H.O.M.E. and other international titles such as domus and flair, Müller brings a far-reaching network and sharp curatorial vision.

"The success of a trade fair such as spoga+gafa depends largely on consistent content development and open dialogue with visitors and exhibitors," explains Angelika Müller. "As curators for Object.Europe, we want to help present outdoor living in a new light. We see Object.Europe as a stage for premium brands that combine quality, design and sustainability – curated in international collaboration with the H.O.M.E. team. At the same time, we hope that spoga+gafa will become an inspiring meeting place for the industry."

Object.Europe aims to highlight the design and cultural dimension of outdoor living, presenting European designer furniture, high-quality shading solutions and exclusive outdoor kitchens in a stylised setting. "Of course, it's also about product presentation," adds Claudia Maurer, Director of spoga+gafa. "But even more so, it's about atmosphere, values and curated brand staging – things that the industry will need more of in the future."

From 2026, Hall 10 will continue to showcase the full spectrum of the international outdoor furniture market, from consumer brands to premium suppliers. In contrast, Hall 9 will focus on high-end European outdoor design through Object.Europe. This dialogue between the two halls promises a complementary trade fair experience, balancing product range and design quality for retailers, planners and the hospitality sector.

The guiding principle 100% Design. 100% Selected. underscores the new format, reflecting a commitment to high standards, short supply chains and transparent production. "With this hall, we want to bring strong brands back to spoga+gafa, attract new ones – and give the industry a space that inspires and provides impetus," says Claudia Maurer.

By introducing Object.Europe, spoga+gafa consolidates its role as a global platform for garden and outdoor living while strengthening its relevance across design and architecture-related sectors.
