Loft Kolasiński presents its new Symmetry rug collection, a study in contrast where bold geometry meets the unpredictability of nature. Inspired by the interplay between human-imposed order and natural chaos, each rug features striking intersecting lines that create a modern, layered aesthetic while subtly reflecting nature's inherent disorder.

The collection explores dynamic streaks flowing across the surface, introducing movement and energy within a structured framework. The design evokes an architectural sensibility, balancing precision with organic irregularity.
Expertly crafted using the hand-tufting technique, Symmetry incorporates varying pile heights, accentuating contrasts between frame and line, enhancing depth, character, and individuality.
Reflecting on the philosophy behind the collection, Loft Kolasiński cites poet Julian Tuwim:
"There is no straight line in nature, It is created by humans, an artificial invention. Looking at the tangled vines, Chaos, we learn about chaos."
Founded in 2011, Loft Kolasiński is a Polish design studio creating comprehensive interior and industrial designs. The team produces high-quality wooden furniture and accessories, prioritising natural materials such as wood, stone, clay, linen, and wool, often in collaboration with small craft workshops that preserve traditional production methods.
The Symmetry collection is highlighted in the August issue of Architectural Digest Polska and is available for preorder via massimo.dk. Prices start at 7,400 DKK.
"Any interior can be elevated with uplifting colours and pleasant textures. At Massimo, we achieve this one rug at a time, with the greatest attention to design, quality, and sustainability," the company states.
