HKLIVING unveils most expressive collection yet: a tribute to the artist’s eye

Dutch interiors brand HKLIVING has introduced its most expressive collection to date, comprising over 300 pieces that explore the tension between process, contrast, and creative instinct. The launch underscores the brand's commitment to pushing boundaries while remaining rooted in tradition.

"Drawing from the rhythm of slow craft and the intimacy of dusty ateliers, the in-house design team embraced contrast as a guiding principle: scorched wood, softened metals, ceramics that flow like fabric. Every object carries intention and edge, nothing is overworked, everything is considered," the brand notes.

At the heart of the release is the expanded 70s Ceramics, which now includes nearly 100 new designs. The pieces merge bold design with everyday functionality, reinforcing HKLIVING's ability to balance expressive forms with practical living.

Another key highlight is the New Classics collection, a sculptural range of expressive platters, generous bowls, and decorative objects. With roots in classical design, the forms are described as "timeless, but reborn in surprising materials and colours. Light, luminous, and contemporary, these pieces offer a refined yet easy presence that works beautifully across modern and characterful spaces alike."

For the first time, the brand also introduces art as a category, including wall pieces, ceramic sculptures, and hybrid objects that blur the line between design and artistic expression. Created for those who see the home as a canvas, HKLIVING explains: "Each piece invites emotion and interpretation."

To complement the core collections, HKLIVING also presents a series of mood-enhancing details: scented diffusers, richly coloured kitchen textiles, and sculptural candleholders designed to transform atmosphere subtly yet effectively. "A collection for the curious. The collectors. The lovers of detail. For those who dare to live with imagination," the brand adds.

Founded by Emiel Hetsen and Sander Klaver, HKLIVING continues to build on its philosophy of combining creativity with precision. Inspired by functional and traditional design, the company creates accessible collections that pay homage to history while reflecting modern living.

The new Collection 25-26 is available from 2 September on hkliving.com, accompanied by fresh mood imagery and product photography.
