Tapi Carpets & Floors has expanded its UK network with the opening of a new store in Leeds Kirkstall, occupying the former Carpetright premises at Abbey Retail Park.

The retailer, founded in 2015 by flooring specialists, continues to grow following its acquisition of Carpetright in July 2024, when it took over 54 of the struggling retailer's sites. The new Leeds Kirkstall branch, which opened on 29 August 2025, increases Tapi's estate to more than 210 stores nationwide.
Known for its approach of making "inspiring flooring reassuringly simple," Tapi has built a strong customer base, reflected in its 'excellent' Trustpilot rating from over 86,000 reviews.
