Based in Earlestown, and trading for more than 100 years, the company, Bradley's, will continue to operate Bradley's Carpets from its existing unit on Grafton Street. Meanwhile, its front-of-house premises on Oxford Street will be repurposed into a childrenswear and sportswear shop.
In a statement on social media, the retailer thanked its customers, describing them as "our friends," and expressed gratitude for their loyalty and support. The company emphasised that "carpets and flooring will still be open for business as usual," encouraging continued support for Bradley's in its new, streamlined form.
The decision marks a significant change for the long-established business, which has been a trusted name in both soft furnishings and flooring. By focusing exclusively on carpets and flooring, Bradley's aims to strengthen its core offering while adapting to evolving retail demands.
Despite the closure of the soft furnishings division, the company has assured customers of its ongoing commitment to service and quality in its flooring operations.
