This September, Studio Kars + Boom celebrates its 15th anniversary with a special jubilee exhibition at Galerie Waterbolk in Utrecht, running from 16 to 21 September 2025. The showcase is dedicated to new, one-of-a-kind works created exclusively to mark the milestone.

For the occasion, the acclaimed design studio has produced 15 new graphic works and 15 unique sculptures, each piece bearing the studio's unmistakable graphic signature and personally signed. Together, they form a one-time, exclusive series that pays tribute to 15 years of bold, conceptual design.
To mark the celebration, a festive reception will take place on Friday, 19 September from 16:30 to 20:00 at the gallery. The press and public are warmly invited to raise a glass "to 15 years of creativity, collaboration and future plans."
Founded in 2010, Studio Kars + Boom has built a reputation for its distinctive, graphic visual language, bridging the worlds of art and design. Over the years, its work has spanned public installations, commercial commissions, and experimental projects, all unified by a playful yet precise approach to form, colour and storytelling.
"Every piece in this collection reflects who we are and how we've grown over the past 15 years," said a studio spokesperson. "It's not just about looking back — it's also a celebration of what lies ahead."
The exhibition offers visitors the chance to explore the evolution of the studio's practice, from its early experimental graphics to its current multidisciplinary work that pushes the boundaries of contemporary design.
