British furniture brand Another Country marks its 15th anniversary with a six-week capsule exhibition at its Marylebone showroom, coinciding with the London Design Festival 2025. The showcase reflects the company's ongoing commitment to sustainability, craftsmanship and the landscapes of rural Britain that inspire its designs.

Founded in 2010 by Paul de Zwart, Another Country launched with the Series One collection, "a defining collection of pared-back furniture, distilled to its essential form and crafted using efficient, traditional workshop techniques." Since then, the brand has grown into one of Britain's most respected contemporary furniture makers, with an international presence but values that remain unchanged: to create "honest, enduring furniture using natural materials, responsible methods of making, and inspiration drawn from the rich heritage and landscapes of rural Britain."
The anniversary exhibition brings together key pieces from across its history, from the iconic Series One stool to the celebrated Hardy Chair, marking its tenth year. Highlights include the Ori Collection, developed in collaboration with healthy building experts Ekkist, and the Modern Farmhouse Settle, which bridges traditional forms with modern functionality. More recent innovations, such as the Ringstead Lounge Chair by Charlie Fowler and the Gallon Side Table by Daniel Schofield, demonstrate the brand's refined craftsmanship and architectural simplicity.
Reflecting on this milestone, founder Paul de Zwart said:
'Celebrating 15 years is a moment to reflect, not just on what we've made, but why we make it. We've always believed in doing things properly: working with honest materials, skilled makers, and designing with longevity in mind. In a fast-moving world, our commitment remains the same – to build thoughtfully, tread lightly, and create enduring pieces that connect people to craft, to nature, and to a slower way of living.'
The exhibition also previews the brand's new interpretation of the Chesterfield sofa, crafted in sustainable linen by Kirkby Design. Hand-drawn illustrations and newly commissioned West Country landscape photography by Sam Scales will accompany the pieces, deepening the connection between the brand's designs and its roots.
As part of London Design Festival, Another Country will also feature pieces from the Hardy collection in The Objects We Live By, curated by Emma Louise Payne at her London atelier, Seventy-Six.
