Unique Furniture has announced a leadership transition effective 1 September 2025, with Jacob Egholm Lyngsø stepping into the role of CEO, succeeding founder and main shareholder Flemming Lindtofte.

The company stated that despite turbulence in the furniture industry, its "values and vision remain unchanged". Lyngsø will expand his focus to the entire group while maintaining close ties to commercial operations to ensure a bold and ambitious market approach.
Lindtofte will remain an active member of the leadership team, concentrating on supply chain management, sourcing, and quality. He will also lead key strategic projects, including the company's U.S. subsidiary and the development of a new head office and showroom, with construction expected to begin in the coming months.
The company also reiterated its openness to mergers and acquisitions, signalling a continued focus on strategic partnerships to drive growth.
The leadership change is positioned as a move to strengthen Unique Furniture's ability to navigate current market challenges while pursuing long-term ambitions.
