Isomi expands award-winning Tejo collection with sustainable innovation at London Design Festival

Isomi has announced the launch of six new pieces in its acclaimed Tejo collection, debuting at Design London Shoreditch during London Design Festival (16–18 September 2025). The expansion introduces a lounge chair, stool, ottoman, side tables, dining table, and lectern, all reflecting the collection's material-first philosophy and circular design system.

Designed by Paul Crofts of Paul Crofts Studio, who was featured on InteriorDaily earlier this year, the Tejo collection celebrates regenerative, carbon-negative cork, sustainably harvested by hand from cork trees every 9–12 years without harming the trees. The pieces also integrate recycled cork waste, biodegradable natural latex, pure wool upholstery, and Richlite tabletops made from post-consumer recycled paper. Each element prioritises low environmental impact, durability, and recyclability, with products designed for disassembly to return materials to the supply chain at the end of their life.

"We believe the future of design lies in more considered material choices and thoughtful assembly. The Tejo collection reflects our ambition to create pieces that tread lightly on the planet, yet make a meaningful, lasting impact in the spaces we inhabit," said Paul Crofts.

The Tejo Lounge offers single, two, and three-seater configurations, blending modular flexibility with compact design. The Tejo Ottoman, available in two sizes, serves as a footrest, additional seat, or soft-surfaced table, complementing the lounge family.

The Tejo Dining Table combines a sculptural cork base with a Richlite tabletop, marrying natural regeneration with engineered resilience. The Tejo Stool, CNC-machined from a single block of reclaimed cork, is lightweight, durable, and optionally upholstered for flexible use. The Tejo Side Table features a cork base with a softly tinted glass top, available in multiple sizes and heights for versatile applications. The Tejo Lectern offers a tactile, understated presence for work, learning, or hospitality settings, echoing the collection's quiet confidence.

The expanded Tejo collection will be presented at Protein Studios, London Shoreditch, showcasing Isomi's regenerative approach and its commitment to shaping a sustainable future for both contract and residential furniture.
