A carpet company in Sweden has reported another year of exceptional growth, with its 2024 financial results showing a sharp rise in both revenue and profit. The Stockholm-based home décor brand saw group turnover soar by over 50% to 377 million kronor, while profit after financial items jumped 64% to nearly 75 million kronor.

The company, Nordic Knots, highlighted "very strong sales growth" in the United States, which has become its key market, alongside solid performance in the UK and wider Europe. While online direct-to-consumer sales remain its primary channel, business-to-business sales to interior designers also grew significantly.
To support its expansion, Nordic Knots upgraded its US logistics network and, in June 2024, opened its first physical store in New York, adding to its flagship in Stockholm. The formation of the subsidiary NK Retail LLC and several senior hires further strengthened its international operations.
Founded in 2016 by Fabian Berglund, Felix Berglund, and Liza Laserow Berglund, the company acknowledged potential risks linked to currency fluctuations, inflation, and global economic pressures. However, it reported no signs of a sustained slowdown in demand, signalling continued confidence in its growth trajectory.
