In Copenhagen's Nordhavn district, Audo House has evolved into a "living monument to the enduring language of design," blending history, modernity, and community. Originally built in 1918 as a trading post, the space has been continually reimagined by Norm Architects and now serves as the headquarters of lifestyle brand Audo Copenhagen.

Since opening in 2019, the house has acted as a living showroom, where guests can experience the brand's furniture, lighting, and accessories in real-life settings — from dining in the restaurant to staying in exclusive residences or engaging in cultural events.
Its latest transformation, the 2025 "Monuments" exhibition, drew inspiration from Copenhagen's Neo-Classical heritage and minimalist design principles. The interventions introduced during the exhibition were made permanent, giving the space a lasting narrative that celebrates monumentality as "presence, longevity, and emotional weight" rather than grandeur.
More than a design hub, Audo House has become a vibrant community space, hosting gatherings, yoga classes, harbour swims, and international collaborations. It reflects a vision of design as more than beautiful objects, instead serving as "a framework for connection" that brings together people, cultures, and disciplines in a dynamic and evolving environment.
