Roche Bobois braces for stability amid global pressures

Roche Bobois has reported a slight increase in revenue for the first half of 2025, reaching €206.6 million, up 1.1% at current exchange rates. However, performance varied across regions, prompting the company to revise its annual objectives to "stable revenue and stable EBITDA, or even slightly down compared to 2024".

Revenue in France fell 4.3% to €58 million, while Europe excluding France posted a modest 0.6% rise to €51.2 million, driven by improved sales in Germany, Spain and Italy. The US and Canada saw a 3.5% decline, largely due to customs delays, while the "Overseas" zone surged by 149.2% to €9.4 million, fuelled by growth in China and franchise fees.

Cuir Center achieved €22 million in revenue, up 5.3%, boosted by strong second-quarter performance. Overall, directly operated stores generated €183.1 million, up 0.2% from the previous year, while total business volume across all brands dipped 2.2% to €293.2 million.

The group continues to expand, with new stores opening in France, the United States, Luxembourg and India. Price adjustments in the US are expected to cushion currency fluctuations and customs duties as the brand navigates a "challenging and anxiety-provoking international context".
