Forte furniture reports strong growth despite market challenges

The Forte Furniture Factory Capital Group reported positive financial results for April–June 2025, with sales revenues rising to PLN 269.938 million, up 7.6% from PLN 250.806 million in the same period of 2024. Revenues from the sale of surplus board produced by subsidiary Tanne reached PLN 58.116 million, with exports accounting for PLN 39.689 million and a 41% increase in board sales volume.

Furniture sales were distributed across multiple markets: German-speaking countries 35%, Poland 29%, Western and Northern Europe 24%, Central, Southern and Eastern Europe 12%, and non-European countries 1%. Album sales were strongest in Central, Southern and Eastern Europe (68%).

Operating profit rose to PLN 23.715 million (8.8% of revenues), compared to PLN 9.136 million (3.6%) year-on-year, while net profit reached PLN 11.232 million, reversing a net loss of PLN 11.396 million in 2024.

The company cited challenges including a low season for furniture, weak German and French economies, and a stronger PLN against the euro. Positive factors included effective hedging strategies, increased board sales, cost and process optimisation, growth in online sales, and investments reducing energy consumption.

Forte's results reflect strong operational efficiency and strategic management, positioning the group for continued growth despite broader market pressures.
