According to the Central Statistical Office (GUS), retail sales in Poland at constant prices rose 4.8% year-on-year in July 2025 and 4.4% compared to June. Between January and July, overall retail sales grew by 3.3% compared to 4.9% in the same period in 2024.

Furniture, electronics, and household appliances recorded the highest growth in July, up 15.3% year-on-year, followed by textiles, clothing, and footwear at 14.7%, and motor vehicles, motorcycles, and parts at 10.7%.
Online sales of furniture, consumer electronics, and household appliances declined slightly, with their share of total sales dropping from 17.6% to 17.5%. Overall, online retail sales increased by 2.5% in value compared to last year, although sectors such as press, books, and specialised stores saw a sharper decline in online share.
During the January–July 2025 period, sales of furniture, electronics, and household appliances rose 12.5% year-on-year at constant prices, reflecting strong demand despite the slight reduction in online market share.
The data highlights furniture as a leading driver of retail growth in Poland, outperforming other industries and sustaining robust sales through both physical stores and e-commerce channels.
