Paramount Sleep drives growth through trusted cotton branding

Paramount Sleep Company is experiencing notable retail growth through its exclusive use of the Seal of Cotton trademark, enhancing product engagement and sell-through in stores nationwide. Licensed as the only mattress manufacturer to use the mark, Paramount's collections for retailers including Bloomingdale's and Macy's highlight the natural benefits of cotton.

The company's qualifying beds contain an average of 90% blue cotton and 100% pure cotton, exceeding the minimum 75% threshold in upholstery pads. This commitment to quality and sustainability is reflected in production volumes, with 75,000 lbs. of cotton used year-to-date in Seal of Cotton-qualified mattresses, according to company president Richard Fleck.

Paramount's cotton-focused ranges include the Paramount Collection, Bloomingdale's Asteria, Macy's HD, Hypnos Whole Sleep Cotton, A.H. Beard Classic, and Haynes Virginia Luxury line. The mattresses promote breathability, moisture-wicking, hypoallergenic comfort, and durability, supported by 10- to 20-year warranties depending on the brand.

The Seal of Cotton is recognised by over 80% of consumers globally and strongly associated with quality, sustainability, and comfort. Research indicates that products carrying the mark see double-digit sales increases, with 77% of consumers believing brands using the Seal of Cotton care for the environment. Paramount continues expanding its cotton programme across new products and retail partners, reinforcing its position in the sustainable bedding market.
