For the year ending 17 August 2025, sales for Jay-Be increased by 4.5% to £19.15m, with exports exceeding £3m. Unaudited accounts show pre-tax profits of £17,769, compared to a loss of £1.09m in the previous year. Operating profit rose by £1.2m to £416,000.
Global sales director Rob Livingstone attributed last year's weaker results to a temporary slowdown in the contract division, caused by industry overstocking after the pandemic, and delays in launching new sustainable products due to global shipping disruptions.
Chief executive Roger Durrans praised the company's recovery, noting that restructuring efforts had "strengthened operational resilience, improved efficiency, and positioned the business for sustainable growth." He added that 2025 had been about "building the strongest foundations" while 2026 would focus on innovation and sustainability.
The year also saw the opening of a new distribution and recycling centre, expanding home delivery capacity and scaling up in-house mattress recycling. Jay-Be confirmed continued investment in research and development, with new patented product designs scheduled for 2026.
