LD Seating has expanded the Lotus collection of conference chairs with two new base options, continuing its collaboration with Martin Ballendat, renowned designer of the series. Inspired by the natural form of a lotus flower, the chair has become one of the brand's most recognisable pieces. This latest expansion introduces new possibilities across a wide range of interiors, from cafeterias and bistros to homes, meeting rooms, shared workspaces and public spaces.

The new additions include a four-star aluminium base, available with or without castors. Also new is a four-legged steel base with a slightly asymmetrical profile. Whether you prefer the original steel legs, the new slender version or the four-star aluminium base, all options are designed to meet practical needs while complementing a variety of interiors. These additions bring greater versatility to the collection while staying true to the Lotus series' elegant, signature silhouette.
Sustainability remains a key priority for LD Seating. The wooden shells in the Lotus collection are made from FSC®-certified (FSC-C184700) wood, selected exclusively from responsibly managed forests.
