A Danish furniture wholesaler is set to reach nearly 100 employees in 2025, almost doubling staff numbers in just two years. Founded in 2016 by CEO Henrik Jørgensen, the North Funen-based company sells Scandinavian-designed furniture and home accessories to customers in 49 countries.

The workforce expansion of the company, House Nordic, follows a 35% revenue increase in 2024, with gross profit rising to DKK 45.8 million and profit before tax reaching DKK 13.7 million, the second-highest in the company's history. House Nordic has strengthened its purchasing organisation, particularly in Asia, and enhanced quality control, while also upgrading its Danish operations.
To handle rising demand, the company has introduced artificial intelligence to streamline workflows and improve customer service. Jørgensen attributed growth to "offering the right products at the right price" but noted shipping challenges due to security issues around the Suez Canal, forcing longer routes and higher costs.
House Nordic continues to focus on natural materials such as textured wood, stone, and woven textiles, aligning with customer preferences for warmth and authenticity. The company is currently defining a clear mission and vision, aiming to become one of the most sought-after players in the global furniture market.
