Premium kitchen brand Harvey Jones has named Susie Townsend as its new Chief Executive Officer, marking the appointment of the company's first female CEO. Townsend brings 30 years of retail and manufacturing experience and a strong record of commercial growth.

Previously commercial director, Townsend led key strategic projects including a rebrand, the launch of a Heal's showroom on Tottenham Court Road, and opening Harvey Jones' largest showroom in Bicester. She succeeds Vince Gunn, who stepped down after overseeing a rescue deal in early 2024.
Townsend said she was "incredibly proud to be leading Harvey Jones into its next chapter," with a focus on expanding the national showroom network and product offerings. "We are looking ahead at another exceptionally busy year rolling out seven showroom refits focusing on what matters most to our clients – thoughtful design, personal service and a sense of home from the moment you step through the door," she added.
Gunn had joined Harvey Jones in 2023 from Snug.com but left after the company's funds was managed by RBC BlueBay Asset Management.
Townsend's appointment signals a renewed push to strengthen the brand's premium kitchen experience.
