Furniture Village has received planning approval to open its first store in Worcester (UK), marking a new expansion milestone for the national furniture retailer. The new outlet will be located at Elgar Retail Park on Blackpole Road, occupying a former Argos unit.

The site previously faced a planning restriction limiting its use to catalogue retail only. Worcester City Council has now lifted this condition, clearing the path for the furniture brand to move forward with its plans.
The upcoming store will join a line-up of established home furnishing retailers already based at Elgar Retail Park, including Next, Wren Kitchens, Dunelm, Tapi Carpets and Floors, Bensons for Beds, and Homesense.
The development signals Furniture Village's commitment to expanding its physical retail footprint and meeting demand in new regional markets.
