The international interiors and lifestyle industry gathered at TrendSet Summer 2025, held from 12–14 July at Messe München, for its first major ordering event of the second half of the year. With over 17,000 trade visitors and more than 1,500 exhibitors and brands, the fair confirmed its vital role as a trend barometer and ordering platform for the coming Autumn/Winter 2025/26 and Christmas season.

Despite a 12.8% decline in visitor numbers, attributed to post-pandemic changes in visitor structure, exhibitors reported strong order volumes. According to TrendSet Managing Director Tatjana Pannier, 'We're increasingly seeing that our retail- and visitor-centric concept is a guarantee of success.'
'Everything we do is designed to offer retailers precisely the products that will be in demand next season, to facilitate purchasing decisions, and to provide early information and inspiration across all channels, both live and online,' Pannier added.
The fair offered a wealth of inspiration, with six exhibition halls and 15 Interiors & Lifestyle Fair Areas covering categories from Live & Give to Decorate & Create, and thematic zones such as TrendSet Newcomer and TrendSet Bijoutex.
Retailers were eager to stock for the festive season, and exhibitors responded with optimism. 'Although the mood in the retail sector is rather subdued, we are receiving good orders,' said Peter Kwoka, Managing Director of Kwoka Floristik. 'The quality of the product range is crucial.'
Lars Adler of HOFF Interieur described the event as "brilliant," while Madam Stoltz's Country Manager, Lotta Johansen, said: 'In difficult times, people are making themselves cosy at home. This requires suitable products, and we offer them.'
The seasonal trends revealed a creative blend of nostalgia and futurism. 'Whether vintage or futuristic, classic or modern… the Christmas designs of 2025 are one thing above all: incredibly cosy,' read the official trend briefing.
Newcomers like Constantin Felbringer (Raw Materials) found success too: 'We have tons of new customers, and most of them place orders directly.'
With 40% international exhibitors and attendees from across Germany, Austria, Switzerland and beyond, TrendSet retained its standing as a key European event for the interiors and lifestyle sectors.
TrendSet Winter 2026 is scheduled to return from 4–6 January 2026.
