Riva1920 introduces its latest design innovation for 2025 – the Web table and Web Small table – a collection that challenges traditional concepts of form and structure, marrying aesthetic elegance with structural resilience. Designed by Authentic Design Studio, the pieces evoke the intricate, weightless quality of a spider's web, while boasting surprising strength.

'Everything is possible when it comes to design! Lightness becomes strength, the fine threads are woven into textures that verge on perfection, sometimes symmetrical, sometimes free,' says Riva1920 in a poetic ode to the inspiration behind the collection.
Both the Web and Web Small feature a solid wood round top composed of glued slats, resting atop an intricate base crafted from interwoven carbon fibre. The contrast between the dense, natural texture of wood and the high-tech precision of carbon fibre gives these pieces a sculptural yet grounded presence. 'Despite the lightweight nature of the material, the base structure ensures high strength and stability, effectively supporting the solid wood top,' the company affirms.
The Web table is available in diameters of 140, 160, or 180 cm, with a height of 74 cm. Meanwhile, the more compact Web Small offers a diameter of 47 cm and comes in two heights: 35 cm and 48.5 cm – ideal as a side table or a sculptural accent piece.
The vision behind the collection stems from Authentic Design Studio, founded in 2022 as a creative bridge between two generations of the Riva1920 family. The studio was conceived to fuse deep-rooted artisanal knowledge with a future-forward outlook. 'The dialogue between generations gives rise to modern and solid furnishings, crafted with a deep knowledge of wood and its potential,' explains the brand. 'The goal is to create exclusive pieces by anticipating trends and developing sustainable, innovative products that merge craftsmanship with technological research.'
These new tables reflect the studio's mission to craft timeless pieces that respect material integrity while embracing new materials and design possibilities.
