The agreement confirms Unilin Technologies' status as a global reference in advanced flooring systems. Unispec will integrate a suite of Unilin's patented technologies, Uniclic, Unidrop, Unizip, and Flintile, into its production lines, enhancing both product performance and manufacturing agility.
Unispec's CEO Nour Essam stated:
'We are proud to announce our partnership with Unilin Technologies, a global leader in flooring technologies, as we take this major step towards establishing a premium SPC flooring production line in Egypt. The various locking systems stand out in the market for their reputation, reliability and ease of installation. On top of that, the Unilin Technologies team is known for the unparalleled level of support offered to both manufacturers and distributors. This end-to-end service commitment gives us the confidence that our products will perform all the way to the end customers. That level of reliability was exactly what we were looking for.'
The widely adopted Uniclic system, known for its durability and ease of installation—will be joined by Unidrop, a fold-down mechanism that ensures rapid, damage-free assembly. Unizip, a one-panel herringbone system, and Flintile, which replicates ceramic tile aesthetics with waterproof performance, will further empower Unispec to deliver high-value, design-forward SPC flooring.
Commenting on the partnership, Louis Van Roy, Business Development Director at Unilin Technologies, said:
'By choosing to integrate a wide scale of locking technologies, Unispec for Engineering Industries signals a clear intention to manufacture premium SPC floors by prioritizing high-performance, premium locking systems. We're eager to support them as they bring this new SPC offering to life.'
The move strengthens Unilin's global licensing model and reinforces Unispec's ambition to lead in Egypt's resilient flooring sector. With Unilin's support, Unispec is set to deliver cutting-edge products aligned with European quality and innovation standards.
