Maisons du Monde has announced a strategic overhaul of its Italian operations to reinforce its presence in a market it calls "rich in potential." Effective 1 July 2025, Frédéric Capdeville has been appointed "Country Manager" for Italy, bringing over two decades of leadership experience across multiple sectors, including home equipment. His mandate is to consolidate the brand's footprint and drive local expansion.

Capdeville will be supported by Selene Latella, the newly appointed "Marketing Manager," who will coordinate local campaigns in alignment with the group's broader strategy. The initiative is aimed at enhancing customer proximity and delivering a more locally attuned brand experience.
CEO François-Melchior de Polignac stated that the reorganisation seeks to "bring the brand even closer to our customers and support ambitious and sustainable growth." Capdeville echoed this commitment, saying the brand would evolve "in line with the tastes and needs of local consumers" while reinforcing core brand values.
The restructuring signals Maisons du Monde's intent to invest further in Italy, with a sharper focus on strategic marketing and operational leadership tailored to the region's unique consumer dynamics.
