Police are investigating a daylight robbery at a furniture store in St James (South America), where over $38,000 was stolen on the morning of Friday, 11 July 2025.

According to reports, a lone bandit entered the store at approximately 11:15 am, approached the manager at the counter, and brandished a firearm. The assailant demanded cash and was handed $2,000 from the register, along with $36,835 stored in an envelope beneath the counter.
The suspect then calmly exited the premises and escaped. No injuries were reported.
Officers attached to the St James Criminal Investigations Department (CID) and the Western Division Operations Centre are continuing their enquiries.
