The Roca Group, a producer of bathroom solutions, has recently strengthened its international presence with a strategic acquisition in Australia. The acquired company operates in the mid- to high-end market segment and is known for its innovative approach to product design.
For more than three decades, Phoenix has been providing bathroom and shower solutions. With a wide product range and a strong focus on the local market, the company achieved a turnover of €35.4 million in 2024. From its headquarters in Melbourne, it plays a key role in the Australian sanitary market.

The company has two branches in Melbourne and one in Balcatta (Perth). The main warehouse in Bayswater (Melbourne) is specially designed to optimise the company's logistical activities. The Balcatta branch houses a showroom and a smaller warehouse, aimed at supporting and providing direct service to customers in the west of the country.
Thanks to its own design team, Phoenix has established itself as a leading brand in the mid- to high-segment, ranking number one in Australia and Oceania according to the international iF Design Award ranking. The collections have received prestigious awards, including the Red Dot Award and the Good Design Award, for their outstanding design, innovation, and functionality.
With this acquisition, the group strengthens its position in Australia, where it is already present with its global brands Roca and Laufen. By the end of this year, the group will open a new Roca Gallery in Sydney, bringing the global total to eight, and a Laufen Space, where products of this brand will be showcased.
Roca Group was advised in this transaction by Alantra, Allens, and KPMG, and Phoenix by Gilbert & Tobin, Deloitte, and CBW Partners.
