Independent homewares retailer to close after pandemic success

An independent homewares, accessories, and giftware retailer based in Dentons Green, St Helens (UK), has announced it will close its doors. Founded by Alfie Shaw and his mother Jo-Anne during the Covid-19 pandemic, the business is now winding down operations.

In a statement, the company, Regalos, said: 'After an incredible few years, it's time for us to say goodbye.' They have launched a "massive 75% OFF closing down sale" available both online and in-store, emphasising that "once it's gone, it's gone."

The business expressed gratitude to its customers, saying, 'Your support has meant more than you know.' The store remains open as it sells remaining stock.

Notably, Regalos' sister store, JC Kitchens, also owned by Jo-Anne, is not affected and will continue trading as usual.

This closure marks the end of a heartfelt chapter for the family-run retailer, which built its reputation and customer base during challenging times but has now chosen to conclude its operations.
