There is a moment when time slows down and everything focuses on a single sensation: well-being. In Japanese culture, the bath has been a true regenerating ritual for centuries—one that engages both body and mind. Hideo reinterprets this age-old tradition through the elegance and innovation of contemporary design, creating bathtubs that blend form, function, and philosophy: soft lines, advanced materials, and a focus on ergonomics turn every soak into a deep, almost meditative experience.

Led by founder Hideo Shimizu, a pioneer in the industry with over 40 years of experience, the brand designs and manufactures tubs that offer a naturally flowing, comfortable immersion that follows the body's movements. Each Hideo model reimagines and modernises the ancient ritual of the traditional Goemon-buro bathtub from the Edo period (below), transforming into a true architecture of wellness.
Three models, one philosophy to regenerate body and mind. The PC-A900_Piccola (below) is compact, enveloping, and essential—ideal for small spaces that still prioritise comfort. It allows for full immersion thanks to the built-in step seat, which also makes it easier to get in and out. With a capacity of just 190 litres, it's perfect as a cold bath after a sauna and stands out for its sustainability and efficiency. The TR-1500-E_Trono-Bio (opening image, left) combines round lines and a square profile in a hybrid design that offers two wellness experiences: lying back in the curved section or sitting comfortably in the more contained zone. Made from Cristalplant® Biobased®, an eco-sustainable, antibacterial material with a velvety feel, it's perfect for long moments of reading and relaxation.
Lastly, the IN-2000-E_Infinity-Bio (opening image, right), with its fluid curves inspired by the infinity symbol, embraces two people in an ergonomic, stable layout thanks to dual backrests and armrests. Here too, the matte, silky finish of Cristalplant® Biobased® meets a soft, enveloping aesthetic, creating a sustainable design statement without compromising elegance. With Hideo, the bathroom becomes once again an intimate, sacred space for daily self-care. In each tub, the purity of Japanese tradition meets the innovation of modern materials and forms, transforming water into an element of rebirth.
