British furniture brand Loaf is set to open its eleventh showroom, known as a "Shack", in Islington, London, on 17 July 2025. The 4,100 sq ft store, located on Essex Road near Angel station, marks a strategic move as the company relocates from its smaller Spitalfields site to meet rising demand.

The new location has been designed in collaboration with Studio Jill, continuing their partnership from Loaf's recent Chiswick opening. The Shack will showcase Loaf's full range, including its signature sofas, beds, rugs, and tables, while inviting customers to 'rest-test' products in a relaxed setting.
Unique to the Islington site is Loaf's first-ever "Movie Lounge", offering all-day film screenings, complimentary popcorn, and ultra-comfy seating. The store also includes family- and pet-friendly features, such as a colouring station, free choc ices, and dog beds with treats.
Loaf CEO Sam Perkins said the opening represents "another exciting step" in the brand's expansion across London, offering a space built around "laid-back comfort, thoughtful design, and a space to properly unwind".
The Islington Shack reflects Loaf's continued investment in experiential retail as it strengthens its physical presence in the capital.
