The bathroom collection Nereo by Elisa Ossino for Salvatori, offers a contemporary interpretation of natural stone with shapes that express the sculptural properties and value of this special material. For almost 80 years, natural stone has been an important part of Salvatori's identity. The name Nereo refers to the Nereids, sea nymphs from Greek mythology.

'Every collection starts with an idea,' explains Elisa Ossino. 'For Nereo, I wanted to design a bathroom in which natural stone, a material with character and history, is used in a refined and generous way. The shapes are powerful but simple, with attention to detail and a sense of balance. Softening the lines and emphasising the contours creates a design that invites touch and experience.'
The collection consists of wall-mounted washbasin units with drawers and is available in different lengths. There is a choice of an integrated basin, a surface-mounted basin or a top without a basin. The top, sides, basin and drawer fronts are available in various stone types such as Bianco Carrara, Crema d'Orcia, Crema d'Orcia Aura, Gris du Marais, Pietra d'Avola, Silk Georgette, Verde Antico and Verde Guatemala, all with a honed finish. For those who prefer wood, the drawer fronts are also available in Walnut, Light Oak, Grey Oak and Coffee Oak. In addition, textures from Salvatori are available for the drawer front, including Raw, Plissé and Bamboo in stone (except Gris du Marais) and Smooth, Plissé and Spaghetti in wood.
The design combines clean lines with rounded corners, creating a calm, natural look. This approach extends into the details of the drawers and side panels, reminding the furniture of shapes formed over time by natural elements. The result is an understated, timeless aesthetic that goes beyond trends and focuses on harmony between material, form and function.
