Ethimo and Christophe Pillet suggest unique visions

Ethimo continues to elevate outdoor living with a series of elegant new extensions to its flagship collections, previewed as part of the 2026 line. Collaborating with leading designers Christophe Pillet, Marcello Ziliani, Luca Nichetto and Studio Zanellato/Bortotto, Ethimo introduces new lounge and dining pieces that combine refined craftsmanship with a contemporary interpretation of alfresco lifestyle.

Baia: The Nautical Lifestyle, Redefined
Born from a collaboration with Christophe Pillet, Baia is Ethimo's first major foray into nautical-inspired design. Known for its soft cushions resting on a fabric-panelled base, Baia now introduces two new finishes in fibre and rope. These materials 'highlight the tailoring touch by lending an even more distinctive look to the entire line, but also introduce the idea of the sea as a lifestyle,' reinforcing the connection between outdoor design and yachting elegance.

Kilt: Indoor Comfort, Outdoor Resilience
Marcello Ziliani's Kilt collection sees the addition of a large, three-seater sofa and an enveloping lounge armchair. These new pieces preserve the collection's material ethos, 'the warm essence of FSC-certified teak with the sophistication of natural rope', while pushing the boundaries of comfort. The plush new cushions 'visually suggest softness and provide comfort that is even more enveloping,' making them ideal for long, leisurely moments under the sun.

Patio: An Immersive Outdoor Experience
Designed by Studio Zanellato/Bortotto, the Patio collection expands with unique dining and lounge additions. Its latest piece, the compact club armchair, offers 'the same cocooning feel as the rest of the collection' in a smaller footprint. This extension ensures greater versatility while maintaining Patio's core philosophy: 'the harmonious encounter of nature and design.'

Venexia: Timeless Form, Contemporary Ease
Ethimo also adds a new club armchair to the Venexia range, designed by Luca Nichetto. Known for its use of slender aluminium slats and luxurious materials such as lava stone and enamelled terracotta, the collection blends classic charm with modern sensibilities. The new armchair complements existing lounge elements, 'offering yet another option for outdoor chilling.'

From yacht decks to garden terraces, Ethimo's expanded collections offer European audiences refined, versatile solutions for open-air living, merging tactile comfort with architectural poise.
