The local union LCGB explained that the bankruptcy is "a direct consequence of the liquidation of the parent company" in Belgium. Casa France experienced a similar fate in June.
With no buyer in sight, the eight Casa stores in Luxembourg are set to shut permanently. The company employs 35 people.
The union's priority now is to ensure that affected employees receive their compensation linked to the bankruptcy "as quickly as possible."
Casa Luxembourg's closure marks the end of the road for the retailer in the country, leaving staff and customers uncertain about the future.
This development follows a broader trend of difficulties for the Casa brand across Europe after financial struggles at the parent level.
