Itai Gross, founder of NADUVI and CEO of fonQ, has announced his departure from both companies, marking the end of a significant chapter in European home and living e-commerce. Gross founded NADUVI with a vision to streamline the industry by connecting directly with manufacturers, reducing inefficiencies, and embedding sustainability into the business model.

Under his leadership, NADUVI scaled rapidly, operating across the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany. The platform reached tens of millions in GMV, raised multiple funding rounds, and won several industry accolades, including recognition as the fastest-growing e-commerce company in the Netherlands.
In 2024, NADUVI merged with fonQ, bringing Gross into the role of CEO. The merger combined start-up agility with brand maturity, presenting new challenges and growth opportunities. Reflecting on his journey, Gross shared that the most valuable lessons came not from metrics but from building culture, leadership through friction, and aligning data with instinct.
As he steps down, Gross expressed gratitude to his team, partners, investors, and customers. Looking ahead, he plans to explore new ideas and opportunities without immediate pressure, saying he is open to "new ventures, or simply meaningful conversations".
