IKEA opens new planning studio and pick-up hub in Poland

IKEA has launched its first Planning and Ordering Studio in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, located in the EMKA Gallery in Koszalin (Poland). This marks the fourteenth such studio in Poland and supports IKEA's ongoing strategy to provide more accessible and flexible shopping experiences.

The studio offers design consultations for kitchens, bedrooms, wardrobes, and storage systems using IKEA's popular METOD, PAX and BESTÅ furniture ranges. Customers can view materials, plan with the help of in-store designers, or use self-service stations. Orders can be placed for home delivery or picked up locally.

A new IKEA Mobile Order Collection Point has also been introduced in the EMKA Gallery car park, allowing customers to collect orders on Tuesdays and Fridays, providing a cost-effective and time-saving alternative to home delivery.

The studio will operate Monday to Saturday from 9:00 to 21:00, and Sundays from 10:00 to 20:00. While walk-ins are welcome, IKEA recommends booking appointments for full planning services, which range from 30 to 90 minutes.

Kamila Borek-Tucholska, Regional Director at IKEA Retail Polska, said the opening is an opportunity to "establish closer relationships" with local residents and support them in creating functional, personalised interiors.
