Salón nude, the platform for emerging design talent at Feria Hábitat València, is set to unveil a bold new space concept for its 2025 edition (29 September – 2 October), led by renowned designer José Manuel Ferrero, creative director of estudi{H}ac.

Titled "a metaphor in motion," Ferrero's design channels the energy, stamina, and resilience of young creatives by drawing a powerful parallel between the athletics track and the journey of a designer. The installation positions Salón nude as a dynamic launchpad for tomorrow's design leaders, a place where ideas, shapes, and materials converge to mark the starting line of promising careers.
Ferrero, who participated as an emerging talent in the first three editions of Salón nude and designed the 10th anniversary installation in 2012, returns this year with an emotionally charged and visually striking concept that reflects both personal insight and industry vision.
'Design is a long-distance race. The pieces presented at nude are not just projects — they're milestones on a designer's path toward professional growth,' says Ferrero. 'This space is a celebration of perseverance and imagination.'

The design concept
At the heart of the installation is a central Ágora, a multi-functional circular hub for dialogue, discovery, and inspiration. It will host talks, panels, and industry encounters, spotlighting young voices and turning the space into a living laboratory of contemporary design thought.
The architectural language of the space reflects production realities: modular structures, raw finishes, visible joints, and sustainable materials suggest both transparency and industrial potential. The design makes an emphatic case for the connection between creativity and manufacturing, echoing the spirit of innovation in Spanish and international design.
Institutional & industry support
Salón nude 2025 is once again backed by the Spanish Ministry of Culture and Sport, underlining its importance as a cultural and professional springboard for new design talent.
The show also welcomes the support of Finsa, one of Spain's leading timber processors, whose latest Hábitat 360 material innovations will feature prominently in the construction of the space. The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to sustainability, technical excellence, and aesthetic evolution.
