Store owner Anneke was informed by the municipality on Wednesday morning about the planned visit of a "partner of a world leader," without knowing who it would be. Only later in the day, around 2:30 PM, did Emine Erdogan arrive at the store with security. According to Anneke, the visit went smoothly. Erdogan received advice, made her choice, and quickly paid. What she bought remains unknown.
Outside the store, a group of onlookers gathered. After the visit, Erdogan took some time for a few photos and selfies with fans before departing in a vehicle of the Turkish delegation.
