Danish wardrobe manufacturer secures new owners

A Danish wardrobe manufacturer, based in Skovlund, has been acquired by a group of investors led by Endrupholm Invest and F. Grunnet Holding. The company, which has supplied wardrobes to the Danish market for over 20 years, employs 20 people.

The new owners intend to maintain By Mogensen's established concept and continue focusing on "high-quality Danish craftsmanship" and strong production and service competencies. Allan Lorentsen, director of Endrupholm Invest, emphasised the desire to support the company's further development.

By Mogensen will remain headquartered in Skovlund. The current CEO, Karl Otto Schultz, who has served since 2022 and been with the company for eight years, plans to step down. He stated the company is "in a good place" and believes it is time to "pass the baton" to new leadership. A search for his successor is underway, with Schultz continuing in his role until a replacement is found.

The ownership change signals continuity in By Mogensen's dedication to Danish quality, with hopes to build on its longstanding reputation in the furniture industry.
