Strong floor space demand signals record year for Furniture Component Expo 2026

More than 50 per cent of the available floor space for the Furniture Component Expo (FCE) 2026 has already been secured, as exhibitors act early to ensure visibility at the UK's premier trade event for furniture producers.

Returning for its third edition, the event is organised by the British Furniture Association (BFA) and will take place at Telford International Centre on 11–12 March 2026. Building on past success, the Expo continues to attract top industry names and will expand to include the kitchen, bathroom, and contract interiors sectors for the first time.

FCE provides a unique one-stop-shop platform for manufacturers in cabinet making, upholstery, beds, and mattresses. It brings together key decision-makers and buyers under one roof, enabling participants to review products, build networks, and explore commercial opportunities.

'The event's ability to attract decision-makers from across the different furniture sectors ensures that every conversation has the potential to open doors,' organisers said. 'Whether you're a well-established supplier or a new entrant with an innovative solution, FCE is where you'll meet the right people, buyers, designers, manufacturers, and fellow suppliers, all looking to do business.'

Headline sponsors BeA Group and Carpenter have renewed their agreements for the 2026 edition, reinforcing their continued commitment to the Expo. Furniture & Joinery Production also returns as official media partner and sponsor of the seminar theatre and drinks reception.

Phil Spademan, Managing Director of the BFA, commented: 'All signs are already pointing to our biggest year to date for the event, which fills a much-needed gap for the industry. This year we are also broadening the scope to include the kitchen and bathroom sector, contract furniture and interiors sector.'

The FCE is designed to serve as a high-impact platform that facilitates purchasing and supply chain discussions across the furniture manufacturing landscape. With a growing reputation and an expanding remit, it is fast becoming a cornerstone event for the British furniture industry.
