Laufen introduces collections that merge warm tones and earth colours for bathroom

Laufen, unveils a new vision for contemporary bathroom design, one rooted in earthy tones, natural materials, and sensory well-being. Emphasising tranquillity, tactile luxury and aesthetic harmony, Laufen's latest collections reflect a growing movement that transforms the bathroom into a holistic sanctuary for physical, mental and emotional restoration.

'In recent years, the bathroom has evolved into a space of retreat, a sanctuary where design, materials and colours come together to nourish the senses,' the brand stated. No longer a functional afterthought, the bathroom is now a vital space for energy rebalancing and personal care.

Drawing inspiration from nature, Laufen introduces warm tones and earthy finishes that cultivate a soothing atmosphere. The influence of Pantone 2025's Mocha Mousse and the broader chromatic spectrum of natural hues define a new chapter in bathroom aesthetics. 'With the right chromatic sensitivity inspired by the earth and thanks to the harmony of materials, the bathroom can become the place in which to cultivate discreet luxury and a haven for complete relaxation.'

Central to this vision is Laufen's innovative ceramic material, Saphirkeramik, known for its exceptional strength and thin, elegant forms. This has enabled the creation of sleek, curved designs that revolutionise traditional bathroom ceramics. Collections such as ILBAGNOALESSI have been refreshed with a new mokka hue, aligning colour with design heritage.

In 2024, Laufen also introduced a unique colour palette developed through academic research led by designer Roberto Sironi. Drawing from over 10,000 historical ceramic artefacts from global museums, Sironi created colour clusters that echo the warm sandy tones of Mesopotamia to the burnt oranges of ancient Rome. The result is a range of sunlit, enveloping colours steeped in cultural history.

The furniture offerings, including the new ARUN collection, emphasise craftsmanship and tactile richness. 'Premium details such as the continuous wood grain through the elegantly crafted handles… give every piece of furniture a unique touch.' With finishes from terracotta to copper and materials like light oak and fine walnut, these pieces enhance both visual and tactile experiences.

Laufen's faucet collections further blend form and function, with finishes in copper, titanium, and gold. The ADA range includes ceramic or marble trays integrated into the design, merging practicality with elegance: 'Inspired by water, stone, wood and the personal sensations that the bathroom offers, these faucets embody a harmonious fusion of form and function.'
