A 37-year-old former employee of a furniture store in Hamburg-Moorfleet (Germany) allegedly threatened to commit gun violence at his former workplace. According to police reports cited in WELT, the man called a former colleague and made threats of a criminal nature, likely triggered by ongoing disputes with his former employer.

In response, Hamburg police and authorities in Schleswig-Holstein launched a coordinated operation. The suspect's location was traced to an apartment building on Lütjenmoor Street in Norderstedt, where officers wearing protective gear surrounded the residence and arrested the man without resistance. No firearm has been found so far. The Kiel Public Prosecutor's Office is investigating him for threatening behaviour, and he remains in police custody.
