In May 2025, Poland's furniture production grew by 8.7% year-on-year, according to preliminary data from the Central Statistical Office. This increase placed the sector among 26 of 34 industrial areas that reported gains in sold production at constant prices. Stronger growth was seen in areas such as "repair, maintenance and installation of machines" (up 18.0%) and "machinery and equipment" (up 14.1%).

However, when compared to April 2025, the furniture sector experienced a 4.0% decline. This monthly dip aligned with overall industrial trends, as sold production fell in 17 sectors, including furniture, electrical equipment, and food products.
Despite this short-term decline, broader industrial performance remained positive, with a 3.9% year-on-year increase in May. From January to May 2025, total industrial production rose by 1.6% compared to the same period in 2024.
The data suggests continued resilience in the furniture industry, even amid broader market fluctuations. While monthly output varied, the year-on-year growth points to stable demand and strong sector fundamentals.
