The countdown is on for the seventh edition of Trends Up West, which promises to be its largest and most international yet. Taking place from Saturday 28 to Monday 30 June 2025, the show will transform Düsseldorf's iconic Areal Böhler into a vibrant hub of innovation and style, reflecting the creative strength of the consumer goods and lifestyle industry.
This summer's edition is already breaking records, with over 300 exhibitors and more than 450 brands confirmed, a new milestone for the event. Spanning 15,000 square metres across two halls, the entire exhibition space is already fully booked. This success reflects the show's growing significance in the B2B landscape, particularly for retailers in Western Germany and the Benelux region.
'The overall package, an inspiring and diverse brand mix, a unique location, excellent accessibility, and a high-quality visitor experience, is what makes TRENDS UP WEST so special,' says Christian Kasch, project manager of the event. 'Both exhibitors and visitors are clearly looking forward to it. Especially in today's turbulent retail climate, the value of in-person networking and inspiration has never been higher.'

Focus on Dutch Design: "Dutch Tides" Makes Its Debut
A key highlight of this year's edition is a special focus on the Netherlands, long recognised for its innovative design culture and stylistic diversity. Making its debut is the "Dutch Tides" collective stand, presenting six trend-setting Dutch brands: Ompak, Loopvis, Riverstones, Rotpot, By B+K, and Koda Amsterdam. This curated space underlines the event's expanding international reach and appeal.
A Platform by and for the Industry
Trends Up West was launched by industry insiders: Willo Blome (blomus), Florian Burghard (sompex), and Marco Hübecker (fleur ami). Their goal was to create a trade fair shaped not by external organisers, but by the industry itself, a platform that evolves alongside its vibrant and growing community.
As always, the show's thematic layout offers a clear structure for visitors, with dedicated zones including: Home, Deco & Fashion, Gift & Paper, Cook, Eat & Drink, and Outdoor & Living.
