A Danish kitchen manufacturer, which filed for bankruptcy in 2022, is now making a strong comeback with ambitious plans for international expansion and a broader product offering. After two years of rebuilding under the leadership of Søren Overgaard, former Hanstholm Køkken owner, the company is shifting focus towards the furniture segment to drive growth abroad.

Stillark, founded in 2018, currently sells primarily to the Danish market, but aims to enter markets in Scandinavia, the Benelux region, and potentially Germany. The firm will soon launch new furniture collections, including hallway pieces and modular shelving, complementing its existing range of kitchen-compatible products such as dining tables and mirrors.
The company's design ethos of "high quality" and "simple design" remains central to its strategy. While kitchens are custom-built and harder to export, furniture allows for easier international sales. Stillark's manufacturing is partly based in an 8,000 m² Swedish factory owned by Overgaard since 2020.
In 2024, Stillark reported a pre-tax profit of DKK 1.8 million, with projected growth of around 50% this year. With a strong design identity and renewed commercial focus, Stillark is positioning itself for a new chapter on the European furniture scene.
