Singapore-based furniture brand Castlery is marking its first expansion into Europe

Singapore-based direct-to-consumer furniture brand Castlery is set to launch in the UK this September, marking its first expansion into Europe. Following success in markets including Singapore, the US, Canada, and Australia, the brand aims to fill what it sees as a gap between budget furniture and high-end design.

The UK launch will feature popular collections including sofas, dining tables, beds, and storage, with next-week delivery options. Castlery will also host a pop-up during London Design Week, allowing customers to experience its products in person.

Co-founder Declan Ee stated that Castlery designs for the "design-obsessed" and sees the UK as an ideal market due to British consumers' appreciation for "quality craftsmanship and design". The company was founded in 2013 after its founders identified frustrations in furniture shopping such as unclear pricing and long wait times.

To support its global growth, Castlery has entered a 10-year logistics partnership with Maersk. The deal is intended to streamline delivery across the UK, enhancing speed and transparency from factory to front door.

Castlery positions itself as an accessible alternative to both low-cost and luxury furniture, aiming to offer enduring, stylish products at fair prices.
