String Furniture – New editions for 2025
Marking 75 years of design legacy, String Furniture debuts four exciting launches:
- The Museum Collection in Black:
Designed by TAF Studio, this aluminium and steel series, first created for Stockholm's Nationalmuseum, is now available in a refined black finish. 'Besides being both beautiful and easily placed with its hidden attachment, the delicately shaped construction... makes the shelf exceptionally strong,' say Gabriella Lenke & Mattias Ståhlbom. 'The Museum Collection in black upholds the integrity of our original design, refined, purposeful, and durable.' - String Pocket Stockholm Series: To honour the 20th anniversary of the final design by Nisse and Kajsa Strinning, String introduces four new colourways inspired by Stockholm: Nybroblå, Oxtorgsröd, Tegnérgrön, and Sergelgrå. 'It seemed very natural to launch a collection inspired by the colours of Sweden's capital,' notes Hellberg.
- Pira G2 Magazine Shelf in Walnut and Oak: A natural companion to the modular Pira G2 system, designed by Anna von Schewen and Björn Dahlström, this new element complements the mid-century inspired contemporary classic.
- String System in Dark Grey: The brand also introduces a new colourway, 'a tone that strikes balance with each wood finish,' adding depth and harmony to the versatile shelving system.

Grythyttan Stålmöbler – 130 years of craft
Celebrating its 130th anniversary, Grythyttan Stålmöbler presents new colourways of classic designs:
- A2 Armchair in Green: A 1930 design by Artur Lindqvist, reimagined in lacquered light green oak and black steel. 'No two pieces of furniture are identical, and this is something we are extremely proud of,' says Karl Lindqvist, fourth-generation founder.
- High Tech Chair in Ivory, Petrol & Chestnut: Originally designed by Nisse Strinning in 1984, the chair blends comfort and strength with modern elegance, suitable for both indoors and out.
