Searches for "double vanity" units have surged by nearly 750%, with "double shower" up 172%, indicating a growing preference for high-end bathroom layouts. "Freestanding bath" and "marble bathroom" searches also saw notable increases of 53% and 51% respectively.
In the kitchen and dining spaces, functionality and indulgence are driving demand. Searches for "coffee station" rose by 77%, while "drinks cabinet", "home bar", and "wine cellar" all experienced double-digit growth. Houzz also highlights a strong revival of natural finishes, with "oak kitchen" searches up 214% and "wood kitchen" up 116%. Decorative treatments like "wooden slat walls" and "wood panels" are also trending.
Interior architecture trends show rising interest in maximising light, with "skylight" searches increasing by 115%, and "glass wall partition" up 202%. Additionally, the colour pink is making an impact, with "pink kitchen" and "pink bathroom" searches up by over 100%.
The findings reinforce Houzz's earlier prediction that pink would be a defining kitchen colour in 2025.
