HAY has announced a new collaboration with American artist Emma Kohlmann, titled La Pittura. The collection features 19 handmade ceramic pieces, each reflecting Kohlmann's signature expressive and playful style. Known for drawing inspiration from art, architecture, and fashion, HAY continues its tradition of transforming everyday objects into design statements.

The collection is described as a celebration of the poetic in the practical.'I wanted each piece to feel like a small, poetic gesture. Something that lives beautifully on its own, but even better when used and shared,' said Kohlmann.
La Pittura officially launches on 14 August 2025, with a special preview taking place from 18 to 20 August at HAY House in Copenhagen, as part of the 3 Days of Design event.
Positioned at the intersection of art and function, HAY aims to bring fresh perspectives into daily life through carefully curated collaborations with globally recognised creatives. This latest partnership continues that mission, offering ceramics that serve both as decorative art and functional design.
